Antalya, which does not stop counting the places to visit and the bays to swim, introduced us to another beauty last summer.. While we were looking for a pleasant weekend route, where we will not spend much annual leave, we thought of Suluada and its surroundings, which we often come across on social media.. So we decided to spend a weekend in Olympos and set off.. Our plan was to visit Olympos, stay in a tree house and see Suluada.. Our second day was going to be spent on a boat tour in Suluada and we were very excited to finally see this small island with a diamond-like shore!
After the boat tour in Suluada, we realized that there was no filter in any of the photos we saw! Suluada was truly glassy and truly as magnificent as it was described.. Let’s take a break from praising and open the Suluada Boat Tour file. Throw the swimsuits and towels in the bag, we’re going for a swim in one of the most amazing spots in Antalya!
WHERE IN SULUA
Suluada is a Mediterranean island across from Adrasan, a small village in Antalya’s Kumluca district.. Suluada, 15 km from Adrasan coast. You use the boats departing from Adrasan pier to go to Suluada.. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Suluada from the Adrasan coast, depending on the wind and sea conditions.
HOW TO GET TO SULUADA
HOW TO GET TO SULUADA strong>
The only way to go to Suluada is to join the boat tours departing from the coast of Adrasan.. If you are staying in a place other than Adrasan, you can easily join these tours by coming to Adrasan early in the morning, as the cooperative determines the departure time of boat tours as between 10:00 and 11:00.. Since the departure time of the boats will change according to the season, it is a good idea to talk to a few captains and confirm the time before you go. strong>
Boat tours in Suluada depart from Adrasan coast between 10:00 – 11:00 in the morning and go first to Suluada and then to a few coves around it.. After cruising around Adrasan bays for about 6 hours, the boats return to Adrasan pier at 17:00 – 17:30.
If you do not agree with a captain beforehand for a boat tour in Suluada, you can get on the next boat when you go to the pier and go for a trip.. Since the boats are affiliated with a cooperative, they act jointly, and since everyone knows each other in some way, the boat tour prices are the same.
SULUADA BOAT TOUR ROUTE AND ADRASAN COILS
Boat tours in Suluada go directly to Suluada after taking off from the coast of Adrasan. After gliding in the windy sea for about 40 minutes, you arrive at the front beach of Suluada.. Anchoring on the front beach of Suluada, the boat takes a break for swimming and sunbathing for 2-3 hours depending on the wind.. There are no businesses on the front beach; you can throw your towel in the sand and enjoy the turquoise coast!
After the front beach, it’s time to eat dinner.. After taking off from the front beach, the captain goes to the back cove right next to it.. Since this place is more inland than the first stop, it has a windless and truly diamond-like cove.. With the break in this bay, the meal is prepared.
The destination after Suluada is the bay, which is called the Blue Cave! Since it is a very deep spot, seals live in the lower parts, therefore swimming is not allowed, but the boats come in and show the cave anyway.. It was also called the Cave of the Smurfs because of its color.
The last stop of the boat tour after the Blue Cave is Kargicak Bay, which is on the left of the Adrasan coast.. The sandy cove, under the shade of pine trees, is one of the most loved coves of the region.. Even though we didn’t feel very warm here after the turquoise bays, the swimmers seemed very pleased..

SULUADA BOAT TOUR RECOMMENDATION
We did our boat tour in Suluada with Ramazan Kaptan, whom we researched and contacted on the internet, and we were really satisfied with both the tour and his service.. Ramazan Kaptan runs the boat with his family, and they have been doing this for about 15 years.. Since there are several captains with the same name, let’s leave their website here, you can also reach them from their mobile number: 0539 360 1997.
It is worth mentioning for those who are wondering; Most of the boat tours in Adrasan Suluada have music, but we think you can talk about this with the captain and find the middle way..
THE BEST TIME FOR A BOAT TOUR IN SULUADA
Suluada has been extremely busy in recent years. gets incredibly crowded in the summer as it has become a popular boat tour location. Even if the cooperative determines the arrival and departure times of the boats to the islands, in the end, several boatloads of people land on a small island at the same time.. Naturally, summer months mean crazy crowded periods for Suluada! Our advice is definitely to come in May and September.. May is good because schools are not closed yet and September is good because schools have started..
So we have come to the end of our Suluada travel notes.. You can find all our photos and travel notes about Suluada and Antalya from the account on Instagram, with the hashtag #journavelantalya. Follow us, let’s travel together!
