OUR SNOWPARK EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN
Previously Shortly after I learned that the concept of Snowpark, which I loved at Emirates Mall in Dubai, is now in Istanbul, we are at Torium Snowpark. We enjoy the pleasure of snow and sledding in Istanbul all day long. Although it scares me at first to go with two children from the Anatolian Side to the other end of Istanbul, Halkalı, we can easily reach Torium AVM with my children, who are not used to public transportation, as the metrobus is quite calm in the early hours of the weekend.. When entering Snowpark, we take our boots, coat, gloves and helmet from the elder brother, and lock our changed items in one of the cabinets there.. As soon as we put on our snow coat, put on our gloves and helmet and step inside the door of Snowpark, an icy weather welcomes us.. We really forgot about the cold of snow, we are surprised. Even though we forgot the cold, we missed the snow so much that it touches everywhere, we hug every snow figure we see.. When we move a little further, when we see the children and their families skiing with bagels on 5 side-by-side tracks that run from top to bottom, our folks go crazy with joy. We all run up the hill as we both grabbed a bagel and the adventure begins.. This fun takes me back to the days when we were kids when we used to slide down the slope in front of the apartment, I love it. After sliding here four or five times, we go to the next level and try the slide, which takes a little longer because it has a rotating track.. This is so fun too. After he’s had his fill of skiing, he plays some basketball, takes a few more poses and leaves the Snowpark area now that it’s getting cold.. It takes about an hour between entering and exiting.. Every moment is a full hour… When we get our own clothes and a warm environment, we calm down after all that tiredness and I feel a warm peace while sipping my hot tea… What we will do at Torium AVM is not limited to this.. Together we go to the butterflies exhibition on the upper floor and learn the stages from a caterpillar to a butterfly by experiencing it with children.. Our adventure, which started as a caterpillar by crawling, ends up flying as a butterfly.. We become spiders and climb the web for a while, but I can’t remember exactly what it is connected to with the butterfly 🙂 Another beautiful day is ending.
