Sainte Chapelle is one of the most important tourist attractions in Paris, known as the Holy Church. Built by King Louis IX in the second half of the 13th century, the church has become a religious symbolism.. The most striking part of this church, built in the Gothic style, is the stained glass windows.
One of the historical buildings of Paris, Sainte Chapelle was not a place we particularly wanted to go to.
Notre Dame Cathedral was one of the places we came across by chance after our tour.. Since we have a 2-day Paris Pass Card, we had the chance to visit the inside of the church.. This church, which has a magnificent design, is overlooked by many tourists.. Even if you do not have a Paris pass card, it is a must-visit place if you have time.
Unlike other churches in Paris, Saint Chapelle is a very quiet touristic place.. So you can go inside as much as you want and take your photos.. No need to buy your ticket in advance. Because ticket queues do not exceed 10-15 people.
The most important places of Sainte Chapelle, which is one of the places that may attract your attention with its colorful windows and structure, is the statue of Louis IX, its rose-patterned window and the low ceiling part of the chapel.. The entrance fee of this church, which is one of the places you should add to your list of places to visit in Paris, is £10.. But if you have a Paris Pass Card, you can enter the church for free.
