THINGS TO SEE AROUND PARIS
You have come to Paris, you have turned the city upside down, but there is still time for your return ticket. Especially if we have visited that city but still have time, we cannot stay in the same place.. We divert our course. AUVERS-SUR-OİSE: Take the H train from Gare du Nord , you will get off at Gare de Persan Beaumont and then from there to the Gare d’Auvers-sur-Oise.
And you are in Vincent van Gogh’s village. CHANTILLY: Chantilly, in Picardy in France’s Oise Region, is a small but must-see village 50 km north of Paris.. Only 25 minutes away from Paris! There is a direct train service from Paris Gare du Nord.
Of course, the word village does not sound like it does in Turkish for this village.. Chantilly is officially a small city with parks, a castle and a hippodrome! You’ll forget how close you are to a bustling city like Paris on wonderful hiking trails.. So much so that it has been chosen as one of the most spectacular and best walking paths in Europe.. Even though it is known for one of the world-famous castles, Chantilly Castle (Château de Chantilly), the whole world knows Chantilly with another reputation: Cream Cream! From Paris-Gare-Montparnasse you can take a direct train to Chartres in 1 hour and 15 minutes.. But since these trains are not frequent, it gets very full.. But the trains from Paris-Gare-Montparnasse to Rambouillet pass through Chartres.
Completed in 1220, the Gothic church is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.. The blue stained glass windows of the cathedral, which has two bell towers, were made in the atelier of the Centre International du Vitrail near Chartres.
Our recommendation: If you have the opportunity, go to Chartres after 10:15 pm.. And watch the light plays reflected on the square from the Gravel Square in front of the cathedral.
