Man moves towards places throughout his life.. Moving and living means being on the road. If you are alive, you are already on a path; Because our life, full of joys and sorrows, is already a journey, isn’t it?. The important thing here is the movement, the goal doesn’t matter, because reaching the goal ends the road, and the end of the road ends life.. Although we have no final destination, no stop, being on the road is philosophy itself.
Philosophy is being on the road (Karl Jaspers)
If you ask someone, “What is the path?“; The answer will be “The way is the way”. For an intellectual traveller, the road is the destination with mysteries, the meaning of life. Being on the road is a positive change, development and renewal in spirit, mind and body.. Traveller, new information is loaded on the road, old information is emptied, information is carried across borders.
The road teaches, evolves, and one more brick is added to the knowledge universe at every step.. By recognizing the values of different cultures, new experiences allow to look at life from a new window, this is the renewal itself.. While the experiences gained make life easier and simpler, it carries people to another dimension;
Whatever journey one takes, whether mythical or metaphysical, whatever struggle for liberation one engages in, real or imaginary , they all lead to one goal: to know yourself! Knowing yourself will make you the master of both yourself and the world (Stefano Elio D’Anna).. However, it is realized that the life flowing in a routine is actually beyond this, only when you step outside that circle.. Isn’t the sense of belonging perhaps a self-created obstacle to freedom? Being on the road shows us that you are alienated from the world while feeling a sense of belonging somewhere.. Even the steps you take are different now when the roads take us out of the circle.
It creates a brand new us; renewed, flexible, informed and changed. When the passion of being on the road is deeply challenged, a step is taken towards clearing the body, soul and mind from habits and addictions, and this brings people one step closer to reality and liberates them.
Being human requires effort.. What makes a person different is his effort to get to know and know the world around him, the society he lives in, his past and himself.. Being on the road is a process of questioning yourself, getting to know yourself. People naturally want to know. (Aristotle).
The traveler’s path lies behind him, not in front of him.. Ways traveled are behind, the future is a surprise. If we live in a place where there is no peace, we must hit the road to find it.. The most beautiful roads are the ones that are unknown where they lead us.. Isn’t it time to leave the routine life behind and open the door to new experiences?
Let’s hit the road together!
