Let me tell you from the beginning, an article that will fill you with blue is waiting for you.. Fethiye’s famous holiday resort Oludeniz generously offers you all shades of blue. You really get your fill of the sea here and you feel like a water bird.
The coves and beaches of Ölüdeniz with its turquoise color and crystal clear sea are among the best bays and beaches in Muğla, one hundred percent enters. I will try to give all the information about these bays and beaches in this article.
In the last part of my article, for your convenience, coves in Ölüdeniz that can be reached by car and only in boats. will sort the list. The link to my other articles about Ölüdeniz is below.. Have a pleasant reading in advance.

Oludeniz Bays and Beaches
I have sorted the list of Oludeniz coves and beaches according to their proximity to each other. You can zoom in to create your own travel plan on the map.. A boat trip in Ölüdeniz is a must to explore all of these coves and beaches.

Oludeniz Bays and Beaches List
Aquarium Bay
Aquarium Bay in Muğla never ends. When the sea is beautiful in many places and people have a hard time finding names for these places, I guess they say let’s call this Aquarium Bay. 🙂
Oludeniz Aquarium Bay is a bay that truly deserves the name.. This is the stopover point for Oludeniz boat tours.. There is no car access to this bay.. I can say Aquarium Bay is the place with the cleanest water among Ölüdeniz coves and beaches.. Unless we count the fuel of the boats!
Snorkels or goggles are required to swim with the fishes in Aquarium Bay.. The location of Aquarium Cove is here.
Bottleneck (Demon Cove) )
Oludeniz coves and beaches are the most secret point of my writing Bottleneck . The bottleneck may have remained Fethiye’s most unknown bay. There is no car access here.. It is a little difficult to reach the bay. Since we took the wrong way at first (we couldn’t find the path), we were very tired until we found the right way.. But we finally hit the target.
You get directions on Google maps and reach the last point you can reach by car (you park your car on the road before you come to Gemile Bay) and reach the Darboğaz with a 20-minute walk.. You can park your car on the side of the road. After parking the vehicle, you will see a wooden warning sign (on the right) and you will follow the path you see.. After 20 minutes, a legendary view and a beautiful bay will be waiting for you.
You will see the sea on both sides of you on your way to the bottleneck.. Don’t forget to sit on the road and enjoy the view. 🙂
Make sure to have water and food with you when you go to the bottleneck.. I recommend the elderly and those with children not to go here because of the pathway.. Because the way is compelling. There is no business etc in the bottleneck.. You have to go with the supply. Not crowded even if you go on the weekend. This is a stopover point for conservative boat tours.
The thing we didn’t like in this bay was black flies, thank goodness they were no different from mosquitoes.. They kept biting and biting. The sea in Bottleneck is turquoise and stony. The location of the uniquely beautiful Bottleneck on the map is here.
Gemile Bay
We came to Gemile Bay, which is the first bay we can drive to in Ölüdeniz. The view of Gemile Bay from the landing road, which is the way down by car, is very beautiful.. Take lots of photos here.
As for the bay, Gemile Beach is a small beach.. beach stony. If you want to swim in the sea, you can choose the place with the rocks on the left.. There is also a campground here.. You can camp here if you want.. Read the reviews before you go !
How much is the Gemile Bay Entrance Fee?
The entrance fee to Gemile Bay is 35 TL. If you want to rent 2 sun loungers and 1 umbrella from the business located here, you also need to give 80 TL. You can bring your own chair and umbrella if you want.. These fees are valid for 2022.
Where is Gemile Bay?
Gemile Bay is 8 km from Kayaköy. Let’s take you here for the location of Gemile Bay on the map.
St.. Nicholas Island – Gemiler Island
The St Nicholas Island located just across Gemile Bay has a history of 2500 years. There are 7 old churches on this island, which carries the traces of the Roman and Byzantine periods.. In addition to churches, there are buildings necessary for daily life such as houses and warehouses.. The tunnel found here connects the big church and the small church.
The area around the island is almost entirely made up of historical ruins.. St.. Nicholas Island is only accessible by boat.. The sea is literally glassy here. You can see the historical ruins when you dive. Snorkel and goggles are a must.
St.. Nicholas Island (Gemiler Island) Entrance Fee 2022
St. The entrance fee to the ruins on Nicholas Island is 15 TL per person. Museum card valid here.
Cold Water Bay
Oludeniz Bays and Beaches, our favorite place in my article was definitely Soğuk Su Bay. In the heat of summer, this place really creates a shock effect with its ice cold water.. Even I, who doesn’t like very cold water, didn’t want to leave here.
We got here by Oludeniz boat tour. Normally, there is no access to Cold Water Bay by car.. Just like the Bottleneck, you can reach here by car for a certain distance and then on foot.
The sea is clean in Cold Water Bay.. As you swim to the cold water source, the temperature decreases and you start to feel cold.. Really good in the heat of summer. There are no businesses here. It is useful to come with a supply when you come..
How to get to the Cold Water Bay on foot, this is just behind Kayaköy.. If you say you like to take a walk, you can reach here by a 40-minute path that stretches from the ruins in Kayaköy (from the road next to the fountain to the church) to the beach.. You can click this link for the location of Cold Water Bay.
Camel Beach
We had our lunch break at Camel Beach on our Oludeniz boat tour. This place is right across the Cold Water Bay.. The reason why it is called Camel Beach is because the rocks here resemble a camel from above.. No land access to Camel Beach. Location here.
Kumburnu Beach
Oludeniz coves and beaches have come to the most popular point of my article. Kumburnu Beach is a famous place not only in Turkey but also in the world. Kumburnu Beach is located at the farthest point of Ölüdeniz.
This is not a public beach, so there is an entrance fee.. Kumburnu Beach consists of sandy and small stones. Compared to Ölüdeniz Beach, the sea is not wavy.. Ideal for families with children. WC, dressing cabin and shower facilities are available. Very crowded in high season !
Kumburnu Beach Entrance Fee 2022
Kumburnu Beach entrance fee for 2022 is 25 TL for the car, full for pedestrian 8 TL student 7 TL. Umbrellas, sun loungers 15 TL.
Where is Kumburnu Beach?
Kumburnu Beach Fethiye Located in Ölüdeniz. You can click here for its location.
Oludeniz Beach / Belcekız Beach
The first beach that comes to mind when Oludeniz is mentioned is Belcekiz Beach or Oludeniz Beach. This is a public beach of about 3 km and the entrance to the beach is free.. The sea is beautiful and turquoise blue. Its name is Ölüdeniz, but the sea here is wavy and deepens immediately, so it’s not like a bed sheet.. It is quite crowded in high season and therefore the sea is unfortunately cloudy. Children need attention. You can also use your own chair and umbrella here.
I think the best place to swim in Belcekiz Beach is towards the rocks, the sea is cleaner and calmer here.. If you have stayed in Ölüdeniz, swim in the first hours of the morning on this beach.. Let me tell you it has an incredible pleasure.
Oludeniz Beach Entrance Fee 2022
As Oludeniz Beach is a public beach, there is no entrance fee here.. So entry free (2022). The fee for sunbeds and umbrellas is 15 TL.
Where is Oludeniz Beach?
Where is Oludeniz Beach aka Belcekız Beach and for directions you can click here. You cannot go here by car.. You should park your car in the center of Oludeniz and walk to the beach.. Parking is a bit difficult in summer, you can use private parking lots.
Kidrak Bay
. Access by vehicle is available.
Blue Cave
Blue The cave is officially engraved on our minds and souls.. It was lucky for us to stop by here on our Oludeniz boat tour because boat tours don’t always stop here.
The blue cave is a place of exquisite beauty that can only be reached by boat.. the sea is clean. You enter the cave and a mini beach awaits you.. There are really not enough words to describe this place.. The location of the Blue Cave, which is a very suitable place for diving, is here.
Butterfly Valley
One of the most special points on our Oludeniz boat tour, I can say that Butterfly Valley Ölüdeniz Bays and Beaches is the most special place of my writing.. This place is among the top 3 places with the best view in Turkey.. The view of Butterfly Valley from above is legendary. This is 1. extremely natural protected area, that is, no construction is allowed.
Butterfly Valley Entry Fee 2022
If you want to come to Butterfly Valley by sea and explore the valley, the Butterfly Valley entrance fee is 17.5 TL
you must pay the strong>. Children entrance fee 7.5 TL. There is no entrance fee for the Butterfly Valley viewing point for the upper view.
Where and How to Get to Butterfly Valley?
To reach Butterfly Valley, first go to Ölüdeniz. you have to go. You can go to Faralya Village with the minibuses departing from Ölüdeniz and go down the paths (these roads are quite dangerous) from here.. At this point, if your shoes are not good or you have little trekking experience, be very, very careful.. When you go down to the valley, you can also go to the waterfall flowing at the lowest point.. If you do not prefer walking, the best way is to reach by boat.. Butterfly Valley is definitely on the route of Oludeniz daily boat tours and they take a break for 1 hour here.. If you want to spend a longer time, the ideal option is the dolmus boats.. Round trip by dolmus boat to Butterfly Valley is 80 TL (2022 price).
BUTTERFLY BOAT TIMES
Butterfly Valley – Ölüdeniz 9:30 – 13:00 – 17:00
Oludeniz – Butterfly Valley 11:00 – 14:00 – 18:00 The best viewing point where you can see the valley from above. On the way to Faralya Village from Ölüdeniz, there is a fountain and a rocky spot infested by bees, where vehicles stop at the first bend of the Butterfly Valley.. At this point, you can take exquisite photos like us.. You can shoot awesome videos, especially if you have a drone.. The location of the viewpoint is here.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please, please don’t get too close to the cliff sides of the rocks to get the best picture.. Be very, very careful about this.. There were those who fell from here and unfortunately died here !
Pumpkin Bay
Kabak Bay One of the most beautiful bays of Fethiye. It is 33 km from Fethiye and 20 km from Ölüdeniz.. Kabak Beach has a pebbly beach of about 200 meters and the sea is a bit wavy, the color is deep blue.. There is a waterfall at the top of Kabak Bay, you can reach the mountain in about 1 hour by climbing.. Getting here is a bit of a hassle and requires performance.. There are also small ponds in the forest, the water is quite cold and perfect for cooling off.
Kabak Koyu Kamp
There are many establishments where you can camp in Kabak Bay.. There are shower and WC facilities in the camps.. They generally work on half board.. It is a good idea to contact the campgrounds in advance for camping prices.
Where and How to Go to Kabak Bay?
You can go to Kabak Bay by minibus from Ölüdeniz.. If you are going with your personal vehicle, you go to a certain place by car and you park your vehicle in the car park for 15 TL that even going to that particular place is a problem due to the road.. After parking your vehicle, you get on the minibuses.. Minibus fares are 8 TL per person, the dolmus fee varies according to the occupancy rate of the vehicle and there must be at least 10 people in the vehicle.. Fees increase if the number of passengers is less. The road you take by minibus is an incredibly bad road, but if you have kidney stones, it may be good for you. 🙂
