Two words that always spill from my lips when describing this city: “My Soul Twin”. I love it so much that if suddenly a plane fairy says “You have the right to a ticket wherever you want”, I always say “New York”. When I first went to New York in 2016, I told you about my experience in this article. If this is New York post, we already know Places to Visit in New York Experiences to Live in New York. Let’s have crazy fun aboutEverything to Eat & Drink with the new version of the 2020 New York Travel Guide

New York Food and Drink Guide
Öykü ve Umur in 2016 gets along very well with Öykü and Umur in 2020. The location is Columbus Circle, which we can consider as the most central in New York!
While you’re here, you can go to the West side and stop by Lincoln Square, Empire Hotel, Bloomingdale’s Outlet’. Since this is also the entrance to 5th Street and Central Park, you’ll always come here along your New York itinerary!
New York’s Must-Try List
It’s countless, it doesn’t end with trying, but we packed many flavors and experiences on our 1-week New York itinerary that we made in February 2020 just before the pandemic.. I hope you try it too and it will ring in my ears.
1- Have Brunch with Mimosa
I’ve always heard it in TV shows and movies. Breakfast and brunch are served by drinking mimosa.. “What the hell is this Mimosa?” We said and celebrated the first day of our New York itinerary by having brunch in Essex one afternoon.. Mixture of mimosa cocktail, champagne and citrus juice. It’s mostly like alcoholic orange juice.. A very delicious, enjoyable, daytime cocktail that will make you socialize for hours.
After leaving this place named Essex, located in Essex, you can buy coffee from nearby Blue Bottle Coffee and walk to New York City. You can enjoy York. Remember, walking blocks is the best way to visit New York!
Essex: Essex 124 Rivington St
2- Eat a Giant Slice of Pizza at Joe’s Pizza
We are in a place we often see in TV series and movies set in New York.. You can eat huge pizzas to cover your face for 1-2 dollars at these chain places.. During your visit to the New York Public Library, after visiting Bryant Park, you can stop by a branch close to there and enjoy it.
Joe’s Pizza: 1435 Broadway, New York, NY 10018
3- Teleport to France in the Village and Enjoy the Flavors of Buvette
I guess my eye in New York is Lower Manhattan. Friend’s House, Carrie Bradshaw’s House always in this area. My dear, every street that connects to Bleecker Street, every corner is beautiful. One of my favorite parks is Washington Square Park in this area. So I say spare a few days and enjoy it to the fullest.
We also took the Village Helicopter Tour, which we arranged from FlyNYON one afternoon beforehand for the sunset. we went to. The helicopter was a LEGEND, I will explain in another article in detail, you can see it on Youtube.. After the helicopter tour, we went to a legendary place called Buvette.. I love such small but delicious French cuisines.. Plus the cocktails were good too.. I can’t think of a better end to the day.
Buvette: 42 Grove St, New York, NY 10014
4- Russ & Daugherts Bagel The Right Choice to Meal
One day we are at Washington Square Park in Lower Manhattan. Because our goal for breakfast is bagel, which we can describe as the bagel of New Yorkers. For this, we take our breath at Russ & Daugters, the oldest and most famous address.
Russ & Daugters: 127 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002
5 – Molly’s Cupcakes Beats Magnolia Bakery
The day that started with Bagel continues with a dessert crunch. Normally everyone is a Magnolia Bakery but it seems too sweet to me. Molly is a much tastier choice for me.
Molly’s Cupcakes: 228 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10014
6- Eat Lobster at Luke’s Lobster
Good news for those who say “I would eat if my father came out of the sea”! When you want to see One Trade Center, which was built in place of the destroyed twin towers, you must enter Century 21′ when you go there.. In this store, you can find many world-famous brands at much more affordable prices.. Then, after seeing the New York Stock Exchange, head to Luke’s to drop in on seafood.
Luke’s Lobster: 77 Pearl St, New York City,
7- Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse Number 1 in New York
There are two iconic rooftops where you can watch the city view on your New York itinerary. One of them is baby Empire State and one is Rockefeller Center. Some people like him more because he appeared in Empire from Rock, but I think the feeling of being in Empire is very different.. It’s nothing like going to the front row for both of them.
In Midtown, Radio City, NBC Studios, Rockefeller, Saks, Magnolia Bakery are always stops to be visited.. Even if you don’t shop at SAKS, get a taste of it. Stop by at Anthropology while you’re at one of my favorite stores, Rockefeller, to see the flags or skaters.
At the end of a day like this, we wanted to try a very high quality venue.. We actually had Daniel or Jean Georges in mind. However, we looked at the number 1 place for meat on Foursquare, right next to us, we said “let’s try it”. It was an incredibly fancy place that showed you the degree of cooking and color of the meat with mini lights.
Del Frisco’s: 1221 6th Ave, New York, NY 10020
8- Gray’s Papaya HotDog Trial
One day we went to
Times Square we also went West to the Empire Hotel side. And while we were at this location, we had to eat a hotdog at the iconic Gray’s Papaya we’ve heard on every New York TV show.. Well, if no one is going to be angry, I didn’t like it much, but I couldn’t help it, I tried!
Gray’s Papaya: 2090 Broadway, New York, NY 10023
9- Drinking Ramen at Ichiran Returning to Japan
While we were in Osaka on our trip to Japan, we chanced upon a place and drank ramen.. I can’t forget that taste since that day.. I’ve always searched and couldn’t find the same taste. Then one night when we came back from Times Square, I turned my head and saw Ichiran’s branch completely by chance.. We tried and yes it was very good again. Oleyto!
Not leaving a tip in America is a shame, you must leave. This place continues the same Japan logic.. I was very surprised to see warning signs like you can smile as a tip.
Ichiran: 152 W 49th St, New York, NY 10019
10- Upper East Side’ da Anassa Taverna
Chelsea Market, High Line, Vessel the day we did the day, which you should do this route, was a very exciting day. Because tonight we had tickets to the Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
We also visited the Grand Central Terminal and then went to the Upper East Side and shopped at Saks’. When we got hungry, we went to the first place that came to us and it was the same place for our taste, Mediterranean cuisine.. What if I told you there was even baklava? After we ate Aegean cuisine at Anassa Taverna, we were ready for the game!
We went to Madison early and had a few beers at The Pennsy Bar at the entrance and then our beers. We added a hotdog and watched the Knicks!
Anassa Taverna: 200 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022
11- You Must Eat a Sandwich at Katz Deli
When you come to New York as a tourist, because Manhattan takes up all your time or you prioritize it, we act as if New York is just Manhattan, but it isn’t.. One of the most popular places in New York, consisting of 5 legs, is Brooklyn.
We wanted to start our Brooklyn day by eating the special sandwich of the famous Katz Deli.. Oh, it’s delicious but huge, you might consider sharing it.
Our goal is to have coffee in Brooklyn Dumbo. Let’s walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn first. Of course over my favorite Brooklyn Bridge. Say hello to Sex And The City Miranda and Steve! Then walk to Dumbo in Brooklyn and take iconic photos under the Manhattan Bridge.
After the day we return from Brooklyn by subway and spend time in Central Park. we spent. Alice Statue and Bethesda Fountain are among the must-see places in Central Park. Afterwards, we had cocktails at Bar Italia and ended the night at The Flatiron Room.
Katz: 205 E Houston St, New York, NY 10002
Bar Italia: 768 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10065
The Flatiron Room: 37 W 26th St, New York, NY 10010
12 – How I Met Your Mother Bar Have a Beer at McGee’s Pub
I don’t want to believe it’s our last day! We start the day at Bryant Park. We have a list of tech requirements to buy from Best Buy in that area. After taking care of these, we move on to Westerly Natural Market. This is AWESOME suggestion! You can get collagen, hair & nail supplements, vitamins etc. at very affordable prices in this market.. Both the employees guide very well and the campaign is very.
Before saying goodbye to New York at the New York Penn Statiton, we went to the bar inspired by How I Met Your Mother, which we stopped by on our last trip, and went to the last one. we round off our beers.
McGee’s: 240 W 55th St, New York, NY 10019
WNM: 911 8th Ave, New York, NY 10019
