Lviv Cheap does it? But Is It Really Cheap?
I have a tip for such cheap travel routes: If the country you are visiting is cheap compared to normal, you spend almost as much as in expensive countries.. In other words, if you spend it because it is cheap, you come and catch the cost of the trip to the countries that are almost expensive.. But Lviv is not like that!
So this place is really cheap. It used to be much cheaper! Although it has become expensive at these rates, I can easily say that prices are below 50% at worst, especially for someone living in Istanbul.
If you put 100$ in your pocket and come here, you can do a lot!
Sultan of Visa-Free Travel Route to Enter Lviv with your ID ?
When you want to travel to Ukraine, you can enter the country with your passport without the need for a visa.. Maybe if it’s your first time, they can ask you a few questions and take you to the interrogation room.. It’s okay, don’t worry. Since we have been to Kharkiv city of Ukraine before, we easily passed the passport when entering Lviv, but we witnessed that some questions were asked to those who entered first.
Kharkiv Travel Guide All my articles for visa-free countries in close distance You can find it here.
If you wish, you can enter Ukraine with new chip ID’s without paying fees. You just fill out a form at the entrance and there can be a bit of a queue.. Since I have a passport, I enter with a passport, but if you do not have a passport, if you want to travel to a foreign country without a visa and with an ID, Ukraine is the right option for you, especially Lviv.
Which Season to Go to Lviv?
As you can imagine, it’s very cold here in winter, very cold! While celebrating New Year’s Eve 2017 in Kharkiv, we counted down from 10, near freezing level! However, when you find cheap tickets, of course, you can experience Lviv sightseeing, provided that you dress very tightly.. But I think spring and summer months will add pleasure. We came across a sunny weekend in March 2019, we were very lucky!
How Many Days to Visit Lviv? How Many Days Are Required for a Lviv Trip?
Lviv is tiny, very tiny! It consists of a square and an Old Town, that is, the old city area, where places to visit are gathered.. Actually, if you put the museums aside, it is not a city that will take your days, but to increase tourism, businesses have created concept spaces very well and have caught a serious tourist density based on food and beverage.
We stayed 3 nights in Lviv but if we had coincided with the flight ticket hours that would allow us to spend 3 full days, 2 nights would have been enough.
Lviv Transportation – Is Lviv Cheap Flight Ticket Difficult?
Planned travel is very important to Lviv! Because Lviv is already visa-free and cheap, everyone wants to come here, tickets are getting expensive. That’s why it’s very important from where you look for tickets.. My advice is to look at ucuzucucor.com, which will be the most beneficial for you to find affordable tickets.. It will be beneficial for your travel budget.
Where to Stay in Lviv? Lviv Hotel Recommendation
We stayed at Dream Hostel’ for 3 nights for 2 people for a total of 550 TL, looking at Rynok Square in Lviv with its magnificent location and price-performance balance.. Moreover, our hostel was based on the theme of travel.
Transportation from Lviv Airport to the City & Local Transportation
Hollowing from the stop right at the airport exit 9 You can reach the city in 40 minutes by tram numbered. You will never need a transportation vehicle other than walking in the city anyway.. Maybe you prefer the bus instead of walking to the Lviv cemetery, which is like an open-air museum, then you can buy tickets in the bus anyway.. So your transportation cost to Lviv is probably just the airport round trip.. We made Uber for him and we paid 94 Ukrainian hryvnias, 16 TL for one way.
Lviv Travel Budget – Lviv Trip Cost
- Flight Ticket: 600 TL – 2 persons
- Accommodation: 550 TL
- Transportation : 38 TL
- Food and Beverage: 1000 TL – Since we tried everything until 2 people broke down, we tried everything
In summary, Lviv was a trip for us, where we spent a total of 2200 TL on our 3-day trip for 2 people, and we had a wonderful time throwing money at it.
Places to Visit in Lviv
As I said. places to visit are not endless. After visiting Rynok Square, Lviv Opera House and the museums you want to go on foot in the city, you can also take tram number 7 and turn the route to Lviv Lychakiv Cemetery.. Have you ever visited a cemetery in your life? And giving money on top of it? This is the case in Lviv, the city of curiosities, because it is almost an open-air museum with the sculptures in the cemetery.
Note that you should not return without seeing the creepy Lviv Lost Toy Street where old toys are abandoned. on your list of places to visit. It’s as if Chucky could come out of nowhere!
Going to the opera in Lviv is a very popular cultural activity.. We went in Vienna, I think it is quite enjoyable. I’m leaving a link here so you can check the schedule for the date you are going.
You will see on your Lviv sightseeing route that there is a yellow tram wandering around the square.. If you want to take this tram, which allows tourists to have a panoramic view of the city, it awaits you there.
Which Places Should You Go in Lviv
I write down all the places we went on our Lviv sightseeing route, in order.. Please “What did you eat, friend!”
DAY 1:
Drunken Cherry: You’ve stepped into the city, first thing everyone, You will try the cherry liquor that he makes standing up at the bistros in front of him.. 1 glass of 38 hryvnia.
Kryivka: Would you like to eat and sip your drinks in the dark in a war-themed venue? Moreover, you can login to this place with a password. Its password is “Slava Ukraine” meaning “Glorious Ukraine”. At the entrance to this place, where you will feel the nationalism to the end, the soldier asks you for the password and offers you a shot of vodka after you say it.. We paid 168 hryvnia for a beer, a coke and borscht. The soup was very successful.
The Most Expensive Restaurant: There couldn’t be a more interesting concept.. After exiting Kryivka, turn back to the entrance and go up the stairs and knock on the first door! Inside, there is an uncle with a cut-and-sticker who will take you into his tiny house and host you with his rabbit.. Incredibly tense atmosphere! Don’t be afraid like us and run away where the opened door takes you out! Drop the zeros from the end of the prices on the menu and enjoy!
Marusia: Bury me here! You are in the best place to eat Vareniki , the delicious Ukrainian dumplings that will haunt my dreams and I will never forget! The most beautiful 54 hryvnias I paid in my life. I ate meat, chicken and cheese. I ate regularly every day during our trip to Lviv. 17 from bottom to top, my favourite, with meat.
Pravda Beer Theater: We are at the famous brewery in the square to unwind and relax. Moreover, there is live music after 19:00.. If you come late, you can’t even find a place on the upper floors.. IPA their beers are extraordinarily good. I don’t remember how many beers we had, but we paid 210 hryvnia Come out every evening and come here. Don’t forget to look at the pictures of Trump, Merkel, Obama on the wall as you go up the stairs.
DAY 2:
Cukor: Come here for breakfast If you don’t go, I’ll have both hands on your side! There is no such taste. Instabreakfast; Super for breakfast with avocado and egg. Blueberry pancake is VERY good, with white chocolate. The crepes are delicious too.. Their Americano is good but very little, you want the second glass. Yes, we ate them all in one go and we paid 376 hryvnia.
Poshta: To drink coffee among thousands of postcards in a cafe right out of the post office We came to this photogenic cafe and paid 52 hryvnia for two coffees.
Chocolate Factory: Umur’s clearest memories of Lviv are always in this shop.. We can call it a kind of amusement park. Smells like musty inside. Melted chocolate is a must try, 55 hryvnia. There are both workshops and shopping stops in a 4-5 storey building.. I say go up to the terrace!
House Of Legends: Everyone who goes to Lviv must have a photo of this car, here is that car House of Legends on the terrace of. The stairs are very suffocating until you reach the terrace, it is very crowded inside, but everyone is here for the photo.. I haven’t seen many people dealing with food and drink.. There’s a dwarf cauldron on the roof again. People believe that by throwing coins, their wishes will come true.. Capitalism rocks!
Bar Mushly: Don’t say what’s wrong with seafood in Ukraine, oyster is expensive in all countries, so we decided not to miss it in Ukraine. Here we had a Cava, a cocktail. The taste of Cava was already on my palate in Barcelona.. We ate mussels and oysters in the pot, paid 610 hryvnia. I think the energy inside is very nice.
Gas Lamp: I wasn’t going to come back from Lviv without drinking alcohol like stinging spirit from test tubes! I almost quit my liver because its hardness increases according to the color and Guess what color the story started to drink? It would be good if the waiter directed. Anyway, we had a lot of fun when the tubes were over.. Now I don’t know if it was because the head was high, I won’t be able to be objective! We paid 120 hryvnia. You may want to videotape the arrival of the account.
Bigos: We said let’s just go in and have a Pale Ale beer on the way to dinner and we had a nice rest with conversation.. We paid a total of 110 hryvnia for beers.
Meat & Justice: aka “Torture Restaurant”. This is a meat place with torture instruments inside.. The account is brought with an ax or something.. I don’t think their meat was good.. I can say that the only thing I didn’t like was the torture show that started in the evening among all the venues and its flavors.. We paid
843 hryvnia for 2 glasses of wine, 1 shashlik, 1 steak and a medium potato. My only suggestion for meat is Mons Pius, which I will explain below!
Libraria Jazz Bar: A great suggestion for those looking for a place to have fun at night! The jazz band is very good, but there is an entrance fee.. Cocktails are nice too. Moreover, you are in the library. We had a great time. The music was ending around 21:00, don’t be too late! We paid 366 hryvnia (110 entries, 256 drinks).
DAY 3:
