#3 Zaanse Schans Cheese Shops:
Cheese While walking around Zaanse Schans, which is famous for its cheese, you will come across many cheese shops.. Since we usually buy our cheeses from the markets on such trips, we entered these stores purely for the purpose of sightseeing.. In stores, you can find Zaanse Schans and traditional Dutch cheeses in all sizes and containers; you can try the cheeses before you buy. If you ask us, don’t buy it anyway, but if every cheese you see is cut for tasting, you should definitely try it.. J You will definitely find cheaper ones, this part is too touristy.
The village is actually quite small; so 3-4 hours is more than enough for you to tour completely. It is possible to spend a beautiful day by coming here early in the morning, walking comfortably without the crowds, and taking your photography tour at the same time.. When you come to Zaanse Schans, after walking the area where the mills are located and crossing the bridge to the other side of the village, you can take a walk through the nostalgic Amsterdam houses with the magnificent cocoa smell of the Chocolate Factory, take a break in the relatively quiet cafes in the vicinity and have something to eat and drink.. You can try traditional Dutch pastries in the bakeries in Zaanse Schans, and you can buy from the snack kiosks in the section where the mills are located, you can buy stroopwaffles, pancakes, coffee and hot chocolate, which are extremely harmful but very tasty..
