Breakfast is a must on Sunday mornings. Our meeting with the Historical Tiled Bakery started with our desire to get out of the house on a Sunday and have a nice Sunday breakfast.. If you want to have breakfast at Göktürk, you are at the right place..
Important Note: Unfortunately, we received information that this bakery is closed..
Our real curiosity arose with our intention to see Bol Pazar in Kemer Country. The place we saw on the way here immediately caught our attention.. When we couldn’t find anything to our liking in the market, we turned our direction to Göktürk.. If you want to see an organic natural market, let’s share its location here. Plenty Market Location
Where is the Historical Tiled Bakery?
The venue is located in Göktürk. The venue, which has been acting with the slogan since 1959, has been operating in the company of Professional Chef Turgut Şimşek.. You can see the location information below.
Let’s point out that the place has 2 different branches, in Maslak and İstinye..
Göktürk Börek & Breakfast
The restaurant’s breakfast received a passing grade from us for its quality and tastes.. We would like to state that we do not remember much of a breakfast where I ate so many types of cheese..
Kars Cheddar, Thrace Cheddar, Izmir Tulum, Cecil, Yoruk, Halloumi white cheese were sprinkled on the cheese plate in a way that two people would be full..
A round tray with desserts besides the cheese plate, a fried egg came in the middle.. Besides, if we didn’t say a mixed pastry plate, it would be remembered..
Fortunately, the taste of the pastry has given its name to the bakery..
If we look at the price/performance of breakfast, the fee requested for a double breakfast is 65 TL.. Mixed pastry price is 12 TL. In our opinion, there are 2 important elements in a mixed breakfast..
1- Fast service, taste and cleanliness.
2- Unlimited tea.

If you come to Bahçeköy or Kemerburgaz on your way, you can have breakfast here.
After you have your breakfast, we can suggest 2 things to you.. First, go to the historical coffee house in Kemerburgaz and have a foamy Turkish coffee.. The other is to take a walk from Kemerburgaz to Bahçeköy, to the Belgrad Forest or to the Atatürk Arboretum, to restore the belly a little after coffee..
