With the 21st place we won in the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest, we lost the right to participate in the contest held in 1994.. 1995 marked a new beginning for Turkey’s Eurovision preparations after a one-year hiatus.
TRT proposes 10 composers to prepare songs on a commission basis.. “Sev”, the work of Melih Kibar and Zeynep Talu, came first in the national qualifying held in Ankara.. A piece composed by Mustafa Sandal also competes in the national elimination; but it will not be successful.
Arzu Ece and “Sev” will represent Turkey in the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest.
