I have divided the must-see points in Paris into groups according to their proximity to each other in my article, and I even explained what is where by exaggerating as marking the metro stops on the map so that you can find them with your hand.. In that article, I briefly passed the Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum, the symbols of Paris; otherwise, the article would be too long and I would create a crowd for those who would not buy tickets, since both buildings were visited with tickets. and How to buy a ticket to the Louvre, should you take the stairs or the elevator to the Eiffel (quite important!), Hotels with a view of the Eiffel tower, Pyramid of the Louvre Museum , I will detail the topics such as must see in the Louvre and where they are.
TOUR EIFFEL (EIFFEL TOWER – EIFFEL TOWER)
1889 100 years of the French Revolution. The tower, built as part of the anniversary celebrations, was completed in 26 months and was named after Gustave Eiffel, the founder of the metal company that undertook the construction. ”, the 300-meter-high tower, which has become the symbol of France and even the entire European continent, continues to be the most visited paid structure in the world, with approximately 7 million visitors every year.
We like to calculate, 7 million visitors per year how many visitors per day does it? About 20 thousand So if we want to climb this famous tower, we have to wait for a long time in the ticket queue.. Or, more logically, buy your Eiffel Tower ticket as soon as your trip is announced. If you can achieve this, you will get rid of a few tiring hours of standing and your trip will be much more enjoyable.
They divided the tower into two parts and made different types of tickets.. There are stairs or elevator options up to the first half. The second half can only be reached by elevator.. For those who do not want to walk in the middle, there is an elevator that goes directly to the top.. My advice is to buy the ticket (Ticket to the top) that goes up to the top, otherwise you will wait in line for the ticket again in the middle floor or go halfway up and then go back down.. The adult price of this ticket is 25 Euros. Print out your ticket and when you get there, proceed directly to the line after the ticket, where the security check is made.
Don’t worry if you can’t buy tickets online; I had planned my Paris trip at the last minute and I had to wait in line as the online tickets for the date I was going were sold out.. There are two different rows; queue, one for those who want to use the stairs and the other for those who want to take the elevator. I told you that you can only go up to the middle by stairs, then you take a separate elevator to get to the top.
Years ago, when I first came to Paris, I took the stairs, this time let me try the elevator less I said I would get tired but unfortunately it was a mistake. They only sell the elevator ticket that goes up to the top (I think the 25 Euro elevator ticket that goes directly to the top can only be bought online) and once you buy the ticket, you have to wait in line to get on the elevator again, as the elevator can only take a certain number of people.. And when it comes to the middle floor, the queue for elevator tickets to go up again (this time, those who go up there by stairs are added to the queue), then the queue to get back to the elevator, people get bored
After all this tiredness, being in one of the most famous buildings in the world and enjoying the beautiful Paris Of course you should enjoy the view.. There is a bar that sells all kinds of drinks, especially champagne, if you wish, you can celebrate being at the top there When I went, old European groups were chatting with champagne and it was very sweet.
I recommend going down the stairs so you can stop in between and have the chance to look around from different heights.. The glass floor on the first floor is something you should not miss.
Eiffel Tower’s visiting hours vary seasonally, but we can say that it is generally between 09:30 and 23:00. There are many metro stops around, but it would be nice to get off at the Trocadero stop of lines 6 and 9 to take the most beautiful pictures with the tower behind you.. This is the best place to watch the 5-minute light show every hour after dark in the evening, you should definitely see this show once.
Another place to take photos is -especially if the weather is nice- The park in front of the Eiffel Tower. Here you can sit on the grass and relax and take creative fun pictures of various shapes such as holding the tower/pressing it from the top
Do I recommend going to the Eiffel Tower at the expense of spending that much money and waiting in line, especially if you couldn’t buy the ticket online? As for; frankly, I was very tired while I was waiting in line and when I left, the thoughts of “it’s very nice, let me stay a little longer” and “I’m very tired, now I want to go” were mixed.. In which situations I do not recommend;
- Paris trip If you have reserved a short time like 3 days and you cannot get tickets online, you will lose a lot of time. I do not recommend for. There are so many places to visit in Paris, and I think it’s bad planning to spend a full day going up the tower.. When we take into account the whole of waiting, traveling, resting, you will not have much energy to visit other places that day. I don’t recommend it.
- If you’re going to think “What the hell is the view” instead of “I’m on one of the most iconic buildings in the world”, I don’t recommend it I just wanted to go out because I find the feeling of ‘being on/inside that famous tower’ special, but everyone is like that.
- I don’t know if it goes without saying, but if you’re on a tight budget, you might not go out.. If that’s the case even though you want it so much, get the cheapest ticket (10 Euros) ‘just go up to the middle and up the stairs’, there is no such thing as everyone will go all the way to the top
