I think we have undertaken a duty to answer the questions you frequently ask us.. While we can stand still for a while, we produce a lot of content and focus on the topics you want us to write as much as possible.. What is our topic this time? Let’s answer as if you didn’t see it in the title: The cameras we use. You have asked about this subject so many times, especially on Instagram and Facebook, that we wanted to be useful by gathering them all in one article and talking about its small-scale features. We would like to clarify the question in advance.. Sir, there are several reasons for this.. For once, it would be helpful if we were 2 people and lived together, right? In other words, we can say that we share other items as much as we share clothes, jewelry and shoes.. It is also in question that we benefit from another feature of each machine, of course, we will explain that part in more detail below.. By the way, we do not use all of the cameras listed below, of course.. We didn’t want to go without adding some of them to our list of camera recommendations, some of which we have used before but are satisfied with, so you can choose them according to your needs.
Canon EOS 500D
The longest we’ve had, our favorite machine, especially because it can shoot pretty good videos. As we heard from professionals in photography, it is an entry-level machine that entertains amateurs, sir.. It is not our place to comment on the technical aspects, because we are not professional in photography, but it handled us very well for a very long time and we were very satisfied.
The first disadvantage for us is that it is too big and heavy.. Because it is not easy to carry such a large machine while traveling or in our daily life, so we switched to something more practical by keeping it in our hands for our video shoots.. And of course, the issue of not being able to instantly transfer the photos we took to the phone created a problem, because we are a “blogger-like thing”, we need to share the photos instantly on social media and this machine does not have this feature.
By the way, she will ask why 500D. If you are, as we said, it’s been years since we bought this machine.. It even dates back to 2009.. (How about you remember that 7 years have passed since 2009 and get on your nerves a little?) Many models came out in Canon EOS series on this model, 6D, 7D, 8D, whatever God gave you.. In other words, if you are particularly attracted to this type of machine, you can also evaluate more up-to-date machines by comparing their features and prices.
Fujifilm X-T10
We are here with a complete soul that managed to get rid of the thought of “wow, can’t I buy the camera” that we lived during the period we used Canon: Fujifilm X-T10. It is smaller, lighter, portable in a bag than Canon, and thanks to its wifi feature, it gives you the chance to instantly transfer your photos to your phone.. It has also been quite a savior for us who are a disaster in night photography, we think we could have achieved much better things if we had this camera during our effort to photograph the northern lights in Iceland.. The automatic mode is also very useful for people like us who are not very professional in photography.. We highly recommend it.
Samsung NX Mini
If you are looking for a machine with a lower level of professionalism but a very successful performance, the Samsung NX Mini, which we have been using for years, We can always recommend. It’s a much smaller, lighter tool than either of the two machines we mentioned above, and it’s a tool you can always carry with you.. There is also a selfie mode that you may like, as the screen on the back is in a rotatable structure.. In addition, it has many different modes and a very practical and simple menu depending on the environment you will photograph.. If you are not after taking extreme crazy photos, we think the Samsung NX Mini might be your camera.. By the way, the machine has many different color options, it is announced to the shapers.. (we are too, what the hell?)
We preferred to use the NX Mini because it is more practical, but if you want a more professional camera from Samsung, the Samsung NX300 is also an option. it could be. Compared to the NX Mini, this machine has a larger sensor, higher resolution, better video quality.. Usually better features = heavier machine so you can choose accordingly.
Fujifilm Instax Mini
Come on, admit it, You used to adore these Polaroid machines because of American movies, right? Yes, we are tempted too. Yes, we wanted to make a joke about “shake it like a polaroid picture”.. Any objections? That’s when we bought the Instax Mini.. Pretty simple, very practical, pretty obvious what it is. You don’t have to expect great performance, but we guarantee you will find what you are looking for.. It’s super easy to use, it already has several modes and a single button to press, so there’s no chance of confusion. (If it gets involved, blame yourself, we’re sorry….) Maybe you, like us, can become the DIY king by creating a separate giant frame from the photos you take with this camera, and exhibit Tumblr abandonment attitudes.
GoPro Hero 4
We think that there is no one who does not know the function of GoPro and its difference from other machines, and for this reason, we love to use it.. GoPro, our undisputed favorite camera, especially for underwater shots and when we can capture legendary landscapes.. We also take it with us once in a while when we are a part of extreme sports.. If you are going to buy it, we recommend that you buy the apparatus that allows you to immerse it in water and a spare charge.. Its battery is draining a little fast, but with a spare charge there is no problem.
Mirrorless Camera or Dslr?
One of her biggest hobbies, which has experienced the evolution of the internet and mobile phones, is “x proof that you grew up in the 90s. As a generation that likes to look at lists like ”, we have seen strange changes in the camera.. While the points we focused on when buying a digital camera were only simple features such as how many megapixels or what color the camera was, now we have to evaluate a lot of details before buying a camera; There are dozens of questions such as does the lens change, video, flash, zoom quality, how is the sensor size, does it have wifi feature? is it better? If you haven’t tried to buy a camera before, you may have no idea what we’re talking about, frankly, we didn’t have it until recently.. As you can see from the top of the article, we still do not have a good grasp of the technical details.. But since it was a question that came up especially during the transition to our Fujifilm machine, we wanted to summarize the situation as much as we know.. Let us also warn that it will be a short and clear summary, if you are experiencing a great dilemma about the subject, it would be useful to consult an expert.. As we said, we have only written about research and experience, as we do not have any professionalism in photography.. If there are those among you who say, “You don’t know what you are talking about, friend, these things are not like that”, welcome them to come and make their comments in order to be useful to others.. COME TOGETHER COME.
First of all, we can say the following in order to visualize these two machine images in your mind; The Canon EOS 500d we mentioned above is a DSLR, and Fujifilm is a mirrorless camera.
There is a reason why this issue was not on the agenda until recently.. In the past, those who wanted to take professional / good photos mostly preferred Dslr cameras.. Because at that time (we are not quite sure, by the way) Dslr machines had much more features compared to mirrorless ones; the lens could be changed, it offered more lens and plug-in options, a larger sensor, and therefore better photo quality and HD video quality.. Since the current mirrorless machines are developed with new technologies and catch up with the quality of Dslr machines, they can offer almost all the features we have just mentioned.. In fact, it has dragged us all into a great dilemma as it may even be more advantageous at some points.. May God not give you any more trouble..
DSLR machines, namely “Digital singe-lens reflex camera” (I understand now, why don’t you tell me from the beginning) have a mirror mechanism Bigger and heavier than mirrorless machines. If the weight of the machine is your only criterion, you may not even need to read the rest of this article.. One of the biggest advantages of DSLR cameras is that they have more lens options.. For this reason, the majority of those who want to shoot professionally still prefer DSLRs.. Longer battery life, more manual adjustment options are other advantages of this machine.
As you can see, we don’t have much to say about the Dslr camera.. Dslr OUT, mirrorless IN. just kidding we love both. In fact, mirrorless cameras are quite enough for thousands of people who like to take pictures or who are semi-professional, bloggers like us, or who write “photographer” on their Instagram profile.. One of its biggest advantages is that it is smaller, lighter and much more practical to carry.. There may be less lens options for now, but still lens options are increasing day by day. Also, don’t be fooled by the smaller size, choosing a camera isn’t one of the things you should say “Size matters”.. Although the highest megapixel cameras today are usually DSLRs, the sensors in some mirrorless cameras are also the same size as those found in DSLR cameras.. So you can capture similar quality photos.. Most mirrorless cameras can compete with Dslr in video, and even more advanced because some of them have started to be 4k technology.. (4k sounds like a good thing even though we don’t quite understand what it is, we’re programmed to love it right away because it’s cutting-edge). It is also more successful in taking serial photos.
One of the features that you may want to pay attention to in mirrorless cameras is the viewfinder, that is, whether there is a viewfinder or not.. Cheaper models do not have a viewfinder, so you have to use the LCD screen when taking pictures, which can mislead you if the ambient light is reflected on the screen.
