Glorious days! I wrote a lot about hostels.. Now I am in one of the most enjoyable and curious. I’m sure most of those who are thinking of staying in a hostel choose this accommodation for the opportunity to meet the people there.. But how do we do this?
Even though I am an experienced traveler today, I learned what I told by living.. I will give you examples from my hostel memories and tell you the passwords for meeting people at the hostel, we start!

How is the Hostel Environment?
First of all, hostels are very social. I have to say that the environment. So it’s easy to meet people here. In fact, most of the time, they may want to meet you before it is your turn.
Because, just like you, they want to chat with people from different parts of the world, participate in events and exchange cultures.. In order to fit into this environment one needs to be a little relaxed and open-minded first, that is, not to judge people by their appearance, language, religion, race, etc.. Then it will be useful for you to know a little bit about hostel life.. Here is my article about hostel life from my own window, please take a look.

Who Is in the Hostel?
“ Well, who will we meet at the hostel, Görkem, you got it right with foreigners !
The issue of who is in hostels is such a wide scale that I am sure you will be surprised.. You go to a hostel in Cambodia.. Here I had an unforgettable evening in Siem Reap nights with such a staff, they became my dear friends whom I still talk to on social media.
Other than that, generally hostel operators and hostel employees are also young travelers. We can say that they fill the quota of the country you go to

How Can I Meet Someone?
I think I should write rules not to meet someone but not to meet them.. Because if you just sit and wait in the common area of the hostel, someone will come to you saying “heey” “how are you” or “where are you from”.
Here is the answer to how you can meet someone! Spend time in common areas, do not stay in bed. Greet people when you see them, ask where they are from, their names. Even if you have a name like me, the conversation can progress after you ask for a name Because it is very easy for people in the world to say “Gorkem” in very few languages!

What’s Needed From My Trip to America?
A mouth, a few small words, a smile and self-confidence that I think you all have!
I always advise those who go abroad to be a little self-confident I would recommend. In my first interrail trip, I almost ran away from people Because I had little self-confidence, especially in language. Then I realized that these are just empty thoughts that I imprison myself.
How Will We Be Confident?
We will be confident in the name, we are young people who are members of a globally accepted society.. We have neither a deficiency nor a feature to shy away from those in front of us.. Our differences do not prevent us from communicating with them.
We have no choice but to be self-confident anyway Let’s say we were disgraced, we couldn’t talk, what do we lose? Probably, if there are 5 people in the hostel that evening, 5 people will also travel to another city, country or continent tomorrow. So our chance to see it again is very low, isn’t it worth trying?

My Language Isn’t Very Good What Will We Do?
We will make do with what we have ! Or now we will have a great motivation to learn languages. Besides, are the people in front of us professors of English Most of the time, you will see someone with worse English than you, don’t be surprised.
There is a promising article for the general language proficiency anxiety of those who go abroad, I think here. Check it out

My Hostel Memories: Görkem Yüksel !
Actually, I don’t go into such titles much Even if I do, I tell the whole story in my travel notes. But I have a pleasant hostel memory for you today. To get you excited, enthusiastic and to experience this beautiful environment!
I went on a pleasant Tuscany trip with my friend Furkan.. Our day started in Pisa and ended at the Michelangelo stairs at the very top of Florence.. Because our hostel was a camping hostel! After we moved to the tent where we were going to camp in the enchanting atmosphere of Florence, we made our way to the common area.
The environment we saw was enchanted. /strong> There is a small bar section right behind it and a match is played on the TV above.
Michelangelo’s Florence, Italy / My Trip I’m Talking About
I say match because it is a world cup year 2016. Watching the world cup in such an international environment is also enjoyable. Everyone staying in the hostel is from other countries. There are mostly Italians, French and Portuguese.. We were not in that world cup, but for the first time in my life, I was able to sympathize with a team from a different country thanks to the people I met there! Not so that they could win, but because I met there and became the team of someone I loved and was sincere.. Such individual relationships can actually remove the borders of the whole world for a moment.
Then it must have been the tiredness of the day, I should have gone to sleep now.. Furkan’s energy never ends when it comes to having fun.. While I was thinking I shouldn’t leave him alone, I looked at him, he became a “bro” with Antuan and he says we will go together and have fun so you can rest. /p>
