1. What do you do, how do you travel so much?
I am an engineer, an analyst at a software company. I lived and worked in Istanbul until 2016 and then I moved to Munich by finding a job in Germany (yes, I searched, found and applied on the internet completely on my own, no acquaintances ). People have priorities in life and they use their money and time according to these priorities.. My priority is traveling.
2nd. I don’t have time, how do you find time even though you are working?
Unfortunately, it is a fact that those who work in a regular job in Turkey have very little annual leave, anyway I am. This is one of the reasons I moved to Germany.. But since I didn’t start traveling after I moved to Germany, it means that there is time to be found.
I wonder if there was a gust of greed and started to think, “I don’t use my annual leave, I get paid when I quit my job” can you Or maybe you’re afraid to ask permission, “Oh, I don’t want to mess with my manager”? It is your right to take leave and you should not hesitate to ask for it.. As I said, Turkey is already far behind European countries in this regard, as white-collar workers like me only have 14 days of leave a year.. If you’re not going to use it, why are you working?
What will you do with that money when you turn your days off into cash? As our ancestors said, appreciate your life and every day you live because the shroud has no pockets.. I say this as someone who didn’t die by chance and got smashed by a speeding minibus while crossing the street on an ordinary day, life is really too short to be wasted and consumed for money and greed.
Let’s take the following article, which I gave as an example for those who say “Idle talk, these things don’t happen with so few permissions”: My 2015 Travel Summary – 8 Days Leave 11 Times Holiday.
If you are still not convinced, maybe life in European countries with more permissions is more suitable for you For those who want to follow a path similar to mine, I started to write the section “Settlement Abroad”.
3. How many countries have you traveled to?
This conversation just happened to us Travel is a race and the one who travels the most wins the race because yes. Even in the messages they wrote to ask me questions, there are those that start with “I’m going here as my 58th country”.. What happens if you prove to me that you’re a great traveler and what if you don’t?
I advise those who ask this question to try to enjoy life first and stop trying to compare everything they own with others.. I don’t think traveling means stepping into a country and taking three or five pictures where you don’t understand what it is in the most familiar place, and trying to move to the next country immediately to increase the ‘score’, and being like that doesn’t make you a ‘traveler’.. Traveling should be something done not to show off, but to broaden our horizons.
For those who say they must learn, as of December 2018, 43.
4. Are you traveling alone?
This question is basically asked for two purposes. The first one and the one that I accepted normally, “I want to travel too, but there is no one who can come with me.. I wonder if these things happen alone?” those who wonder. Yes, these things happen alone and I have many trips that I go alone.. Even though I am extremely handicapped in finding places and directions, if I can do it, I think everyone can.. Tough friends who say “Every difficulty is an experience” or social friends who say “Going alone doesn’t mean being alone” can start plans directly.. If you are a person who is always accustomed to putting the hard work on someone else, it will be difficult to research first and to cope with all the troublesome events during the trip; Don’t let people like this go alone.
The second audience who asked the question is those who are eager to learn about my private life, and the chock-full boys who want to protect the ‘honour of the neighborhood’ and find it inappropriate for me to go on my own. or my fellow citizens who have the same point of view, unfortunately. It doesn’t go beyond words in my articles, but yes I have a ‘husband’ too, I even love him very much.. So, why don’t I write this love in my writings in a soggy “… we went on a romantic tour alone with my love on the streets of Rome…”, right?. In fact, we should go together and spend every second together without thinking about many things such as whether we have the same wishes or whether we are available at the same time.. Because we love each other so much.
I’m not like that, and I don’t intend to be at the moment. Of course, since I married someone who thinks like me, there is no problem.
To sum up the answer to the question; I am not alone (single), but thankfully I can travel alone.
