It’s time to leave
Tasmania from Hobart. A long but beautiful road awaits me from Hobart to Adelaide, Australia; Great Ocean Road. For the first time in my life, I will cross one of the most beautiful roads in the world with the caravan I rented.
In front of me is the 270 km stretch from the capital city of Hobart to Devonport, located in the northernmost part of Tasmania. There is a beautiful way. This is a trip to the city of Adelaide on the Australian main continent by ferry departing from Devonport.. Afterwards, it will continue by watching the shores hit by the giant ocean waves.
At 8:30 in the morning, Lalita dropped me off at the place where her husband Bruce works.. Bruce didn’t want me to get up early and go with him since he left for work at 7 am.. After saying goodbye to Lalita, I had the opportunity to visit Bruce’s office and the factory.. After drinking our coffee, we went to the office of the Maui car rental company at the airport.. After watching the 15-minute video about Maui Motorhome in the vehicle and getting to know the trailer a little, I set out at 11 o’clock.
Currently, I have the opportunity to write on this blog page for the first time with the free wifi offered in this historical patisserie.. This article you are reading right now is also my first blog post concurrent with my travel.
The weather is crazy, it is possible to see rain, sun, strong wind and fog at the same time in this geography.. Again, colorful rainbows appear in front of you every few kilometers.
It was not possible for me to stop on the narrow roads of Richmond, which is one of the historical towns, and in such weather conditions, and take pictures of those wonderful landscapes.
After arriving in Richmond, seeing the historical bridge and taking pictures, I continued on my way under the rain and arrived in another historical town, Ross, 1.5 hours later.
What I know. this quaint place is the capital of woolen in Hobart. I stopped at Ross Village Bakery in Ross Village, which is a touristic place with its stone and wood houses, small charming hotels and bakery on the street.
Yesterday’s terrible storm and rainy weather. according to the day i am lucky today. Both ferries and flights were canceled yesterday and transportation was paralyzed as many roads were flooded.
For the first time after three weeks in Tasmania, I saw this heavy rain. As there is no problem on the highway route for now, I can travel comfortably with my 7 meters long and 3 meters high caravan. I will be. Yes, I’m excited.
